Fitting In
Here is an issue that many people don’t think is closely related to the health of men but it most certainly is! Tight pants. If your trousers (pants, britches, duds whatever you call them) are too tight this can cause various health problems that you never thought would have anything to do with the fit of your pants.
Tight pants can cause problems such as bloating, heartburn, and other abdominal discomfort, not to mention if they are too tight around your “boys”, this can cause your sperm count to decrease.
If when you put your pants on you have the a major case of the infamous “Dunlap” disease then chances are its time to buy some new pants and maybe make an attempt to shed some pounds around the waist line, it’s up to you. However, don’t get rid of those old pants, especially if they are in good condition. Save them and use them to set a goal for yourself when you do decide to try to shed the excess weight.
How can you really tell if your pants are too tight? Well here are a few tips:
- The pockets bulge no matter how much you tuck them back in.
- You sweat a lot more in your nether regions a lot more due to lack of air circulation.
- You have a man version of the “Camel Toe” (you laugh now…but look in the mirror).
- You can’t fit two fingers between the waist band and yourself.
- You can’t slip your wallet in and back out with ease.
- And Lastly, You have an extremely difficult time bending to tie your shoes.
Now you may think I’m just trying to be funny with this list above, but I’m not. The reality is that men and women do not realize what problems may arise when your “britches are bustin’ their stitches.” There are so many different styles of pants (especially blue-jeans) out there these days, so try them out and don’t be afraid to ask your better half how they fit you. Now if we can just find a way to solve the eye-sore of the “plumbers crack” we could start a revolution!
