Hey Chicken Legs!
If you are built anything like me then you know what I’m going to talk about just by the title.
Legs. Plain and simple are the most neglected and yet the largest muscle group that we hate to work out.
Why do we hate to work our legs? Two reasons really. It hurts to work them especially when it’s your weak point and it hurts for days afterwards. Is there a secret to working legs and making them strong without it hurting? Not at first. First you have to take the muscle you have and make it strong. You can have decent size muscle and still be weak. It’s not the size of the muscle but the mass and strength. You may have 18 inch arms but if they are made of Jello then it does you no good.
To work the legs you must start out at a comfortable weight. You have to persevere to the pain but don’t injure yourself. You will feel it the next few days. Here’s tthe key, work your legs and work them well. Take 48 hours to recover. They will still be sore but once you start getting them warm and working them some more they will feel better.
Keep this cycle but don’t overwork yourself. If you start doing this and get them used to hard work they will start to become strong quickly as leg muscle are a fast recovery muscle. The first few times are going to be hard and you may even go to work walking like Boris Karloff in “The Mummy” for a few days but keep it up and you’ll be satisfied with the results.
