Avoid The Burn
Ever get the burning sensation when you urinate? Well it may just be a urinary tract infection, but it could be signs of an infection from an STD. Lets hope thats its just a urinary tract infection for now. Urinary tract infections can be either viral or bacterial. Sometimes it can just be a matter of dehydration and some water and a bit of cranberry juice can clear things up in 24 hours, but sometimes it may take a doctor visit and a prescription to get your pipes back to normal.
Now lets talk about the latter. STD’s are no joke and can be something that can be temporary or permanent and can do damage either way if left untreated. A burning sensation when you urinate can mean that you have contracted an std and chances are it’s your own fault for not using protection and if you are in a monogamous relationship it can mean that perhaps your partner is not as monogamous as you may think. If you do get the burn and it does not go away after a day or two with home remedy type treatment then it may be a good idea to see a doctor and get the problem fixed while its in it’s early stages.
Sometimes females get urinary tract infections from stool getting into their urinary tract from wiping from back to front because stool has a lot of bacteria in it and can enter the urethra this way, therefore it is encouraged for them to wipe front to back at a young age.
Men on the other hand can get a UTI from stool entering the urethra from heterosexual or homosexual anal sex. Whatever your preference, if you desire to have anal intercourse with your partner it is highly recommended that you use protection when doing so to avoid both UTI’s and STD’s. Don’t be a statistic.
