The Power Of The Loofah.
Hey, Guys. You know that poofy, scrunchy bath thing your wife keeps in the shower? Well if your not familiar with it, I highly suggest you get acquainted. The Loofah, bath poof, scrunchy thing, whatever you want to call it serves a purpose. Just because it looks like a femenine product doesn’t mean it is. After all, the only one knowing your using it is you, unless you take it to the gym with you. But then you may get made fun of.
Anyway that poofy thing serves great purposes. If you use a bar soap how do you use it? Do you just rub the bar on your skin, hoping that it lathers up and gets your skin clean? Sure if you use liquid body soaps that wash cloth works pretty good, but then you need to rinse it out real good and often starts to stink of mildew in a day or so.
The solution, even if you use a bar soap is the loofah. A real loofah is an ocean gourd or weed, that like a sponge keeps its form after being removed from the ocean and its very porous. While a loofah is great the problem with them is they can be expensive and also harbor a lot of bacteria. A more affordable solution is the synthetic bath poof that you can buy for about $.99 just about anywhere. The bath poof is great for liquid body soaps as well as bar soaps. They build a great lather and exfoliate. What the hell does exfoliate mean? You’ve heard it on a million commercials but never cared enough to find out what it means. It basically means to scrape away or remove flakes from your skin. Removing dead skin is healthy for your skin and pores and also help reduce body acne, or that disgusting “Backne”, you know, those zits on your back that are painful.
The synthetic bath poof is cheap and disposable. It dries fairly quickly and is loose enough that mildew usually doesn’t build up because of frequent use. Set your pride aside and give the bath poof a shot. I suggest Axe body wash or Every Man Jack body wash.
