Wow. I’ve never heard of any of the “previous research” mentioned in the article - you’d think they’d be a bit quicker in trying to get this information out.

yeah…like women need another reason to say NO!…lol.
On a serious note, men can carry the virus and not be effected by it but then pass it on to a woman. One more reason to stress the use of condoms to sexually active teens, besides the obvious.
