Spot Training

In this months Muscle & Fitness in the Ask Arnold segment, Arnold Schwarzenegger touches on Spot Training, working your weak points to develop them. Below are the exercises to help fix the troubled points. To read up more on Spot Training pick up January’s M&F magazine and “Ask Arnold”

“Flaw Fixers”

Weakness–Exercise–Sets–Reps

Small BicepsSeated Barbell Curl4 Set @ 8-10 Reps
Underdeveloped QuadsFront Squat4-5 Sets @ 8-12 Reps
Small CalvesTri-set as follows all 4 sets at 15 to 20 reps

  • Standing Calf Raise
  • Seated Calf Raise
  • Donkey Calf Raise

Narrow ShouldersDumb bell Lat Raise–4 to 5 Sets @ 6 to 8 Reps

These Do not include warm up sets*
