Your Cell Phone May Be Damaging To Your “Little Swimmers”
According to an article on MSN.com health, high use of your mobile phone may have a damaging effect on your sperm. There is now hardcore proof, but there is raised concern “that over time, electro magnetic energy emmited from mobile phones could theoretically harm body tissue — by damaging DNA, for example.”
Here is a short excerpt from MSN.com where you can read up on it and find out if you should perhaps hang it up more often so Junior doesn’t come out looking like the Toxic Avenger.
“Our results show a strong association of cell phone use with decreased semen quality. However, they do not prove a cause-and- effect relationship,” lead researcher Dr. Ashok Agarwal told Reuters Health.
He and his colleagues based their findings on semen samples from 361 men who came to their infertility clinic over one year. All of the men were questioned about their cell phone habits.”

Hmmm… if this is really the case, shouldn’t there be far fewer teen pregnancies? I mean, whenever I see someone between the ages of 12-20, they seem to be texting, talking or surfing using their cell phones or similar devices…
(Yes, I’m being tongue-in-cheek… sorta…)

You’d think. Then you would also think there is a bunch of men out there talking more with their phone closer to their crotch.

My observation suggests the decrease in sperm is because men keep their cell phones in their pocket when they are not in use. More than likely it has nothing to do with the use of the phone while talking.

Thanks, MD desk. I’m sure a lot of people don’t think about it like that.
